At the back is an adjustable for elevation and windage white dot rear sight while the front features a fixed white dot sight. The slide is high grade aluminum, the barrel is alloy steel and the frame is polymer. For clean, crisp trigger breaks, the gun features the precision-designed Taurus Performance Trigger System (PTS) while a short Picatinny attachment MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail sits under the muzzle.

Many other specifications and features are fairly standard. For instance, the slide has a hard anodized black finish. It has a trigger safety and a striker block safety (which blocks the striker unless the trigger is pulled). Some models also have a manual safety.

Some features are designed for universal operation. For instance, the optional manual safety is ambidextrous, and the gun has a reversible magazine release.

The standard configuration is 16 rounds with a threaded barrel. However, to comply with laws in certain states, a 10 round non-threaded barrel is also an option albeit only with the black frames.
